Carmen López Herranz is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience at BBVA, where roles have included Head of Engineering (CIO) for BBVA Spain, Global Head of Workplace Technology & Architecture, and Global Head of Branch Technology, among others. Key achievements encompass leading the transformation project for BBVA’s New Intranet using Google Cloud technologies and overseeing technology architecture for BBVA branches. Prior to BBVA, Carmen served as Chief Technology Officer at AOL Spain, IT Director at Terra Networks - Telefónica, Senior Consultant at SGI, and Presales Consultant at Sun Microsystems. Carmen holds a Computer Sciences Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and completed the Executive Development Program at IESE Business School.
