Diego Crasny

Diego Crasny, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), currently serves as the General Manager and Head of Strategy, Finance, and Talent & Culture at BBVA in the USA since July 2021, where responsibilities encompass leadership of the Strategy, Talent & Culture, and Regulatory Desk teams. Previously, Diego held the position of General Manager and Chief Financial Officer at BBVA New York since April 2014, having been CFO of BBVA New York since September 2006 and CFO of BBVA CIB USA since March 2011, overseeing financial performance and budget execution. Diego's professional experience also includes serving as a Senior Manager at PwC from September 1998 to August 2006, where expertise included leading audits under US GAAP and IFRS for various financial entities and advising on SEC filings. Diego holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, awarded in 1997.
