Hugo Sierra

Hugo Sierra is an experienced design leader currently serving as the Design Discipline Senior Manager at BBVA, where responsibilities include leading the strategy for the design team and overseeing the design activity in Spain. Previous roles at BBVA include UX & Design Lead for the mobile app and UX & Design Team Leader, where Hugo successfully built and managed a design team, implemented design methodologies, and developed a comprehensive design system. In addition to extensive experience in design, Hugo also holds an adjunct professor position at IE Business School and has a diverse background in visual and brand design from various companies, including Enova-IT Solutions and Telefónica Soluciones. Education credentials include advanced degrees and programs in management, leadership, sustainable business strategy, and audiovisual design.
