Javier Fidalgo

Javier Fidalgo is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Head of Project Finance Advisory at BBVA since June 2018. Prior to this role, Javier held various positions at BNP Paribas from January 2001 to May 2018, culminating in the role of Director Project Finance for Latin America, where responsibilities included the origination and execution of infrastructure, energy, and oil & gas mandates, along with structured capital markets solutions. Javier also held multiple director and vice president roles within Project Finance for the EMEA region and worked as an associate in both Project Finance and the Financial Institutions Group. Javier holds a business degree from the Institut Commercial de Nancy and completed Prepa-HEC at Lycée Carnot.
