Lorenzo Blesa

Lorenzo Blesa is an experienced professional in risk strategy and technology within the financial sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Risk Strategy, Transformation, and Performance at BBVA since October 2016. In this role, Lorenzo oversees the establishment of technological infrastructure across various corporate functions, overseeing global projects that leverage both proprietary and third-party platforms. Prior to this position, Lorenzo held multiple roles at BBVA, including Chief Risk Officer at BBVA Continental and Director of Policies and Portfolios Group at BBVA. Lorenzo's educational background includes a Master's degree in Statistics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master's degree in Marketing from the BBVA School of Finance.
