Pablo Maté Ruiz, FRM, is a Senior Manager in Global Risk Management at BBVA, where they have worked since 2017. Previously, they held roles as a Financial Risk Consultant and Senior Financial Risk Consultant at Ernst & Young from 2010 to 2012 and from 2015 to 2017, respectively. Pablo is currently a Professor in the Master’s Degree program in Finance & Banking at Universidad de Alcalá and is pursuing further education in Advanced Machine Learning at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. They hold a BSc and MSc in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, where they also interned from 2009 to 2010.
