Roberto Albaladejo

Roberto Albaladejo is a seasoned professional in corporate and investment banking, currently serving as the Head of Strategy, Industry Coverage and Cross Border at BBVA, where responsibilities include overseeing services for international corporate clients across various sectors. With a significant focus on innovative technology-driven firms through the position of Head of BBVA Spark, Roberto also brings experience from senior roles such as Chief of Staff to both the Chairman and the CEO, as well as managing director roles in strategy and M&A. Prior to BBVA, Roberto held a senior associate position at Deloitte in corporate finance, specializing in M&A advisory for middle market transactions, and began a career as a junior tax consultant at Garrigues. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from IESE Business School, specialized finance studies at IE Business School, a BA in Accounting and Finance from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Murcia.
