Dr. Sven Hansen

Dr. Sven Hansen possesses extensive experience in product management and marketing within the medical device industry. As the Manager of the Department of Marketing and Business Development at Berlin Heart GmbH since December 2019, Dr. Hansen focuses on ventricular assist devices. Since October 2021, Dr. Hansen has also been a university lecturer in Product and Innovation Management at bbw Hochschule. Previously, Dr. Hansen held the position of Senior Product Manager at Olympus, managing high frequency generators and enhancing usability, and served as a Clinical Study Manager at Biotronik, overseeing studies related to pacemakers and defibrillators. Dr. Hansen earned a doctorate from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg with a dissertation on heart rate variability, and holds a diploma from Freie Universität Berlin in Biology.
