Blaz Kovacic, P.E.

Blaz Kovacic, P.E. has extensive work experience in various roles related to real estate development, planning, and engineering. Blaz worked as a Senior Director at BBX Capital from 2012, where they handled due diligence, feasibility, planning, and permitting for residential and commercial real estate projects. Blaz also managed construction operations, preservation of entitlements and permits, compliance assurance, and coordination with municipal and regulatory agencies. In addition, Blaz served on several real estate development and property owners' association boards. Prior to this, they were the Director of Planning at BBX Capital and a VP of Real Estate Compliance and Planning at BankAtlantic. Blaz also worked as a Consultant in the Asset Disposition Group at BFC Shared Services Corp. and as a Regional Planning and Engineering Manager at Levitt and Sons, LLC. Before that, they held positions as a Project Manager at Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP and The Sear-Brown Group. Blaz began their career as a Civil/Site Project Engineer at Henderson & Bodwell, LLP.

Blaz Kovacic, P.E. started their education in 1986 at State University of New York - Farmingdale, where they earned an AAS degree in Civil Engineering Technology in 1988. Following this, they pursued further studies at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering from 1995 to 1998, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering.
