Mitchell Kuramoto

Mitchell Kuramoto is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in property assessment and analytics, currently serving as the Manager of Quality, Reporting & Analytics at BC Assessment since May 2013. Responsible for leading a team of Data Analysts and Data Scientists, Mitchell oversees analytics that support property assessments for over 2.1 million properties in British Columbia. Previous roles include Acting Deputy Assessor, where duties involved valuing development land and multi-family properties, and Senior Appraiser, where leadership was provided to Agile teams aimed at enhancing real estate valuation processes. Mitchell's background also includes experience as a Project Support Coordinator at Research In Motion, facilitating communication between beta testers and developers. Educational qualifications include a Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria.
