Jane Evans is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in philanthropy and development. Currently serving as the Senior Development Officer for Major Gifts at BC Cancer Foundation since September 2021, Jane has previously held key positions including Manager of Leadership and Legacy Giving at Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, and Manager of Philanthropic Relations at Douglas College Foundation. Jane's significant contributions include developing major giving programs and strategic initiatives that enhance funding for health care and education. Additionally, Jane has a strong background in sales management within the academic sector, having held various roles at LexisNexis Canada Inc. and Quicklaw Inc., where successful strategies doubled customer bases and revenues. Jane holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool, a BA Honours from Queen's University, and a Legal Assistant Diploma from Red River Community College.
