Adrian Wan

Adrian Wan has extensive experience in the field of research management and operations, currently serving as Departmental Manager at BC Cancer since May 2004, where responsibilities include overseeing a safe workplace for over 160 staff members across four research labs and managing departmental operations. As a member of the Joint Operational Health and Safety Committee, Adrian collaborates on safety protocols for the institution. Previous roles include Laboratory Research and Operations Manager, Senior Research Technician, and Research Student/Technician, where notable contributions involved enhancing lab productivity, providing expert technical support, and facilitating key research projects. Additionally, since May 2021, Adrian has worked as an Operations Consultant for Alpha-9 Oncology, focusing on lab buildout and supply chain management. Adrian holds an MBA in Management of Technology from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University.
