Andrew Robertson

Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology at BC Cancer

Andrew Robertson serves as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Surgery at The University of British Columbia since January 2024 and works as a Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology at BC Cancer since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Officer and Graduate Research Assistant at TRIUMF, focusing on the commercialization of therapeutic isotopes and the production of actinium-225. Andrew has also held various teaching positions, including Head Teaching Assistant for a large undergraduate physics course at The University of British Columbia, and has practical experience in medical imaging research as a co-op student at BC Cancer Agency. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Medical Physics from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Victoria. Additional experience encompasses business development internships and private tutoring.
