Glenn Chang is a Bioinformatic Research Programmer at BC Cancer since September 2021, focusing on developing tools for single cell sequencing analysis and creating LIMS databases for metadata tracking. As a Graduate Student Researcher in the Jones Lab, Glenn contributes to the Earth BioGenome project and the Personalized OncoGenomics Project, integrating Nanopore long read phasing with RNA-seq for allele-specific expression detection. Additionally, Glenn was a Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia for multiple Master's courses in Data Science from September 2022 to September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University Health Network, where Glenn developed automation for medical image analysis, and roles at the University of Toronto, Victoria University, and The University of Hong Kong, involving research in Alzheimer's disease and gene expression analysis. Glenn holds a Master's degree in Genome Science and Technology from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto.
