Steven Jones

Steven Jones is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in bioinformatics and academia. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Ifowonco Informatics Inc. since March 2017, Steven also holds the position of Head Bioinformatics and Co-Director at the Genome Sciences Centre, BC Cancer Agency, as well as a professorship in the Department of Medical Genetics at the University of British Columbia. Previously, Steven was a professor in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University from January 2008 to April 2017. Steven's academic qualifications include a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol, an MSc in Genetics from Simon Fraser University, and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the Sanger Institute.
