Korah DeWalt-Gagnon

Korah is a proud member of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, where she has the opportunity to live, work and play. For the past 10 years, Korah has worked in the resource industry at New Gold’s New Afton Mine in Kamloops, British Columbia. Working at New Gold has provided her with the opportunity to collaborate with the Stk’emlúpsemc te Secwépemc Nation to build a stronger future, as well as work directly with the local community of Kamloops.

Korah has a passion for equity, diversity and inclusion, and is committed to using her voice to help others along their career journey. She has experience in Indigenous relations, community engagement, recruitment, employee relations and implementing systems and standards.

She is a mother to three children and enjoys seeking adventure with her family, staying active and enjoying the many lakes that surround the Kamloops region.

She believes solutions can be found together through creativity and collaboration.
