Science World
Matthew Yuen is an experienced educator and facilitator with a diverse background in teaching and program coordination. Currently serving as a Summer School Teacher and Secondary Teacher with the Vancouver School Board since July 2021, Matthew has previously held multiple roles within the same organization from September 2012 to September 2020, focusing on afterschool programs and sports coaching. Matthew also contributes to Science World British Columbia as a Core Science Facilitator and Camp-In Facilitator, where engaging over 300 youth in overnight programs and facilitating hands-on science activities have been key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics from The University of British Columbia and current pursuit of a Master's degree in Mathematics for Teachers at the University of Waterloo.
