Matt Baker

Matt Baker is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in the sports industry. Since February 2016, Matt has served as the Senior Manager of Communications and Content for BC Lions Football Club, overseeing all club communications, media interactions, and content management across various platforms. Previously, Matt held roles as Manager of Communications and Content and Digital Content Coordinator at the same organization, facilitating media relationships and generating engaging content. Matt's background also includes voice-over work at V7 Entertainment, play-by-play announcing for volleyball championships, and hosting duties at TSN Radio 1040 and Bell Media. With a degree in Broadcast and Media Communications from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Matt has built a robust career highlighted by coverage of major sports events, including five Super Bowls and the 2011 Grey Cup.
