Stela Recean

Stela Recean, FCCA, CAMS, currently serves as the Deputy CEO and member of the Management Board at maib since July 2014, where responsibilities include planning, managing, and overseeing the bank's compliance program. Additionally, Stela Recean is the Head of the Compliance Department, focusing on identifying compliance vulnerabilities and developing corrective action plans. Since July 2023, Stela Recean has also been a Board member at MAIB-Leasing. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Manager at PwC from October 2001 to June 2014, overseeing International Financial Reporting Standards audits for banks in Moldova and providing consultancy for various international financial institutions. Stela Recean holds a fellowship from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Bachelor's degree in REI from Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova.
