Bala Kathiresan currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of BCNET, a not-for-profit organization that provides technology services to enhance research and education throughout British Columbia. In addition to this role, Bala holds several board positions, including Board Member and Chair of the National Research and Education Networks Governing Council at CANARIE Inc., and Steering Committee Member for the Administrative Services Collaborative within the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training.
