Dean Skinner

Dean Skinner has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Dean'smost recent position is as the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at BC Energy Regulator, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Deputy Minister - Corporate Services at BC Public Service Agency - Province of BC from October 2021 to June 2022. Dean also held the same role at the Ministry of Citizens' Services - Province of B.C. from May 2018 to October 2021. Before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Destination British Columbia from September 2014 to April 2018 and at BC Public Service Agency from January 2008 to September 2014. Dean also worked as the Director, Budgeting & Performance Management at the Ministry of Finance from July 2007 to January 2008 and as the Corporate Services Director at Workplace Technology Services - Province of BC from January 2006 to June 2007.

Dean Skinner has a diploma in Finance, General from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Dean also has a professional designation as a Certified Professional Accountant - Certified Management Accountant.
