Nicole K. has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Nicole started their career at FortisBC in 2005, where they held multiple roles as a Project Engineer, System Planning Engineer, Asset Management, and Business Development. In 2012, they moved to CH2M HILL as a Pipeline Engineer. Nicole then joined Spectra Energy in 2013 as a Senior Project Manager, and later transitioned to Spectra Energy/Enbridge in 2015 as a Project Portfolio Manager. Nicole'smost recent role was at BC Energy Regulator, where they served as the Vice President of Engineering from 2018 until February 2023. Additionally, they also held the position of VP Safety/Engineering/Audit during their tenure at BC Energy Regulator.

Nicole K. holds a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Oil & Gas Research from the University of Ottawa, which they completed in 2003. Nicole also obtained a certification in Project Management Professional (P.M.P.) from PMI. Additionally, Nicole has recently completed a course on Negotiating When Parties Have Diverse, Deeply Held Convictions at Harvard Law School through The Program on Negotiation, earning a certification in 2023.
