Sarah Rutherford

Sarah Rutherford is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in coordinating and executing corporate communication strategies. Currently serving as a Communications Coordinator at the BC Oil and Gas Commission since January 2018, Sarah supports various projects under public and political scrutiny while collaborating with different departments to create and enhance content for digital platforms. Previous roles include Communications Assistant at the same commission, where responsibilities included managing the Communications Inbox and responding to public information requests, and a Co-op Analyst in the Communications field at the Finance Department of York Region. Sarah's early experience also includes customer service at Westin Bear Mountain and summer internships at York Region. Sarah holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Royal Roads University and a Public Relations diploma from Durham College.
