Maryanne Okubanjo

Maryanne Okubanjo has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Maryanne started their career as a Trainee Clinical Research Associate at Clinproxy Research Services in 2012, where they were involved in various tasks such as designing clinical trial documents, assessing site feasibility, and monitoring studies remotely.

In 2015, Maryanne worked as a Therapy Radiographer at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust, where they gained experience in radiotherapy research.

Maryanne then transitioned to the role of Clinical Trial Practitioner at QEHB in 2016, where they coordinated clinical radiotherapy research studies and provided support to trial patients.

From 2017 to 2021, Maryanne worked as a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator at the Lincoln Clinical Research Facility, ULHT. In this role, they managed and coordinated a portfolio of industry and academic studies, evaluated services, and streamlined processes.

In 2021, they took on the role of Associate Director Biosamples Project Leader at AstraZeneca. Here, they provided expert oversight support on HBS management, ensured compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and worked cross-functionally to support early and late-stage clinical development.

Most recently, starting in April 2023, Maryanne has been working as an Associate Director Data Science Project Manager at BC Platforms. Further details about this role are not provided.

Maryanne Okubanjo completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry at the University of Essex from 2004 to 2007. Maryanne then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Radiation Biology at UCL from 2008 to 2009. Most recently, Maryanne obtained a Diploma in PgD Radiotherapy and Oncology from Sheffield Hallam University, studying from 2013 to 2015.
