Päivi Tikka-Kleemola

Päivi Tikka-Kleemola has worked in a variety of roles since 1997. Päivi began their career as a Laboratory Assistant (BEng project) at Metla / University of Jyväskylä in 1997. In 2001, they moved to Finnish Genome Center as a Genotyping specialist. In 2002, they began working as a PhD Student at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM). In 2007, they joined BC Platforms as Lead Product Manager - Biobanking Solutions and then moved to Customer Success Manager - Research Solutions. Since 2013, they have been working as a Service Manager at BCPlatforms, managing customer services with close collaboration with the R&D team and providing hands-on trainings to customers globally utilizing their strong knowledge of research work with academia.

Päivi Tikka-Kleemola received a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Biotechnology from the Espoo-Vantaa school of technology between 1994 and 1998. Päivi then earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Biotechnology from the University of Jyväskylä between 1999 and 2001. Finally, they received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human/Medical Genetics from the University of Helsinki between 2002 and 2009.
