Melissa Speirs possesses extensive experience in animal welfare, particularly in farm animal management and advocacy. Currently, Melissa serves as the Manager of Farm Animal Welfare at the BC SPCA, where responsibilities include collaborating with farm animal organizations to enhance welfare standards and managing daily program activities. Previous roles include significant contributions to Humane Canada as a National Animal Welfare Association Representative, focusing on animal welfare codes for transportation and goat care.
