Lisa Rupert

With over 26 years of front line and management experience in first stage, second stage, PEACE programs and HPP programs, Lisa is committed to supporting women who have experienced abuse, and their children, and to working towards ending violence against women. She is currently the Vice President of Housing Services and Violence Prevention with the YWCA Metro Vancouver, and Chair of the Board of Directors at the BC Society of Transition Houses. Lisa is an active media spokesperson and brings a collaborative approach to her ongoing advocacy work and has participated in projects that have influenced policies to support women and children who have experienced violence.
