Vikas Pappala

Vikas Pappala, PMP®, is a seasoned project manager specializing in electrification and on-street infrastructure with BC Transit since September 2021, overseeing a $20 million portfolio aimed at achieving a zero-emissions fleet. Previously, Vikas served as a project coordinator for a $50 million operations facility in Victoria, BC, which is set to become the first LEED Gold certified Battery Electric Bus facility in the region. Prior to BC Transit, Vikas worked at McDermott International Inc. from September 2013 to June 2020 as a field engineer, coordinating complex energy infrastructure projects exceeding $250 million, while also being recognized for outstanding project execution and safety. Vikas began with McDermott as a structural engineer intern in 2012, gaining valuable exposure to structural modeling and offshore project analysis. Vikas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Anna University and completed the Engineering Connections Bridging Program at Humber College.
