Alex Escartin

Alex Escartin has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Alex began their career as a Credit Manager at Grupo Giro, where they were responsible for customers' financial risk control. Alex then worked as a Treasury Manager, overseeing the credit and treasury departments and managing group treasury for five companies.

Alex later joined Zobele Holding S.p.a as a Corporate Controller, where they contributed to the design, development, and manufacturing of air fresheners and insecticides. Alex also worked at Zobele España S.A., first as a Finance Manager and later as a Plant Manager. In these roles, they managed the finance area, administration, legal, tax, treasury, and controlling functions.

After leaving Zobele, Alex joined BCD Travel, holding various leadership positions including Vice President Finance EMEA South West Europe, Vice President Div. Controlling EMEA, SVP Global Marine Travel, and CFO EMEA. In these roles, they were responsible for managing finance and controlling departments, leading strategic initiatives, and overseeing the financial operations of multiple countries.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated strong financial expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. Alex has successfully managed complex financial functions, implemented cost-saving measures, and contributed to the growth and profitability of the organizations they worked for.

Alex Escartin completed their Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Economics at European University from 1989 to 1993. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance at Esade.
