Annie Zhai, FRM

Annie Zhai, FRM, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Annie started their career in 2012 as a Special Events Coordinator (Internship) at the Mount Pleasant BIA. In 2013, they interned as a Research Intern at UBC Vice President and International Office. The following year, Annie served as a Career Night Committee General Officer at UBC Economics Students Association. In 2014, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2015, they joined Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) as a Policy Analyst. Annie then moved to BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) in 2017, where they initially served as a Risk Surveillance Analyst before being promoted to Senior Risk Surveillance Analyst in November 2020.

Annie Zhai, FRM, holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics at The University of British Columbia from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Annie has also earned a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program, although the month of acquisition is not specified.
