Hubertus Meinecke has been the chairman of Boston Consulting Group’s Western Europe, South America, and Africa region since 2017 as well as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee starting in 2009. Under his leadership, this region has undergone exponential growth across all geographies and practices as a result of substantial investments in new offices and digital capabilities to drive large-scale transformations.
Since joining the firm in 1996, Hubertus’ client work has focused on industrial goods clients with a focus on bionic and sustainable transformations to create positive economic, social, and environmental impact. Hubertus previously served as the Global Leader of BCG’s Industrial Goods practice from 2013-2017. He also serves on the board of directors of the BCG Henderson Institute, represents BCG at the World Economic Forum (Davos), and actively supports the Yunus Foundation for several years.
He has worked at BCG’s Boston, London, and Johannesburg offices and now lives with his family in Hamburg.
