Philip Hoerning

Philip Hoerning is a Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), specializing in tech investments focused on value creation and diligence at the intersection of software and Private Equity since September 2015. Previously, Philip served as a Venture Architect on the founding team of Tracr, a blockchain traceability platform for the diamond industry developed with De Beers and BCG Digital Ventures, where responsibilities included stakeholder management and platform governance. Prior experience also includes roles as Project Leader and Consultant at BCG, as well as internships at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and Novartis, where strategic development and valuation frameworks were established. Philip earned a BSc in Business Administration from the University of St.Gallen, complemented by semesters abroad at the Stockholm School of Economics and Harvard University.
