Jennifer Hartfield

Jennifer Hartfield has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Jennifer is currently the Senior Vice President of Corporate Data & Operations at BCI, where they lead the department responsible for delivering centralized corporate business services and overseeing advanced analytics, data science, data governance, and global facilities management. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Corporate Operations and Vice President of Enterprise PMO and Transformation at BCI. In these roles, they were involved in developing and monitoring the corporate business plan, implementing operational transformations, and leading key corporate initiatives. Jennifer also has experience in project and program management, consulting, and technology roles at companies like LeadTime Consulting, Long View Systems, Intrawest ULC, Thomson Financial, TAP Solutions, and Outward Bound. Jennifer has a strong background in managing IT infrastructure projects, software development, and implementation projects, as well as experience in functional management and business analysis.

Jennifer Hartfield has a diverse educational background. In 1994-1998, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Microbiology from The University of British Columbia. Following that, in 2000-2001, they pursued a Diploma in Applied Information Technology from the Information Technology Institute. Jennifer further enhanced their expertise in project leadership by completing a Certificate program at Cornell University in 2009. In 2010, they attained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Recently, in 2022, they completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School. Additionally, Jennifer has obtained the CFA Investment Foundations certification from the CFA Institute in 2020 and an Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy certification which was obtained from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023.
