Mihail Garchev

Mihail Garchev has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Mihail currently holds the position of Vice President and Head of Total Fund Management at BCI since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Total Fund Portfolio Management Hub from February 2020 to May 2021. From April 2018 to February 2020, Mihail was Vice President of Total Fund Management and a Board Member of ClearMacro Ltd. at BCI. Before joining BCI, they held various roles at PSP Investments, including Senior Director in the CIO Group and Office of the Chief Investment Officer from April 2009 to February 2017. Mihail also worked at EuroFinance, where they held positions such as Head of Capital Markets Department and Deputy Head of Capital Markets Department. Overall, Mihail Garchev has experience in portfolio management, investment strategy, risk management, and capital markets.

Mihail Garchev holds a Master's degree in International Economics/International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy, which they obtained from 1991 to 1996. Mihail also has a High School Diploma from First English Language School, Sofia Bulgaria, where they studied Quantitative, Humanitarian, and Language Studies from 1986 to 1991. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including ones from Wharton University Executive Education, Canadian Securities Institute, The British Know-How Fund/Capital Market Partners, and University of Delaware/Washington Securities Corporation. Mihail is also a licensed Stock Exchange Broker and Licensed Investment Adviser by the Financial Supervision Commission.
