Rechelle Effendy

Rechelle Effendy has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Rechelle is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance at BCI since March 2020. Previously, they worked at The Citco Group of Companies for over a decade, where they held various positions including Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Manager. In these roles, Rechelle was responsible for strategic management, client relationships, oversight of complex alternative investments, internal controls, and process optimization. Prior to that, they worked at Everest Capital as a Quantitative Analyst, handling assets under management and providing performance reporting and analysis. Rechelle also worked at BISYS Hedge Fund Services as an Account Manager, overseeing fund accounting and financial statement preparation. Their career in the finance industry started at Investors Group as a Fund Accountant, where they handled daily reconciliations, cash projections, and trade settlements. Rechelle began their professional journey at BMO Nesbitt Burns as a Sales Assistant and licensed Investment Representative.

Rechelle Effendy obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta between 1993 and 1995. Prior to that, they studied Business at The King's University from 1991 to 1993. Rechelle is also a CAIA Charterholder certified by the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association. In addition, Rechelle Effendy holds the CPA, CMA designation awarded by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Rechelle obtained their CAIA Charterholder certification in 2008.
