Daniel Cruise is a Board Member at BCIU. Daniel was previously the Chief Public Affairs Officer at JUUL Labs from May 2018 to December 2019. Daniel's mission at JUUL was to improve the lives of the world’s one billion adult smokers by driving innovation to eliminate cigarettes. Daniel believes that vaping can have a positive impact when used by adult smokers, and can have a negative impact when used by nonsmokers. Daniel also worked at Arconic from November 2016 to May 2018 as the Corporate VP Government & Public Affairs, Head of Europe and Asia Pacific regions. Arconic is a global leader in multi-material precision engineered products and solutions for major markets including, air-frames structures, aero engines, automotive, commercial transportation, and building and construction. Before that, they were the Corporate VP, Public & Government Affairs, Business Development at Alcoa from October 2009 to November 2016. And before that, they were the Managing Director at Albright Stonebridge Group from March 2006 to October 2009.

Daniel Cruise began their educational career by earning a BA in International Relations from Brown University. Daniel then went on to earn an MPhil in International Affairs from the University of Cambridge.
