Karen Wang

Karen Wang has extensive experience in audit and internal control across various organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Audit Services at BCLC since January 2014, Karen leads audits, communicates findings to management, and collaborates to enhance processes. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate role at Grant Thornton LLP, where Karen specialized in internal audit, risk management, and compliance. Additionally, positions as an Internal Auditor with Methanex Corporation involved testing internal controls and drafting audit reports. Early career roles included Office Manager at Gravity Computers Inc., handling full-cycle accounting, and Research Assistant at the Academy of International Business, focusing on foreign direct investment research. Karen holds a Master’s in Financial Risk Management and a BBA in Accounting and Finance from Simon Fraser University, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
