Lara Gerrits

Lara Gerrits is an accomplished communications and social purpose leader with extensive experience in driving community impact and brand engagement. Currently serving as Director of Social Purpose, Partnerships, and Engagement at BCLC since March 2016, Lara leads purpose-centric strategies, sponsorship initiatives, and municipal relations programs, while fostering high-performance within various teams. Prior roles at BCLC include Senior Manager of Communications and Government Relations, where Lara managed stakeholder engagement and public relations strategies. Additional experience includes senior communications roles at Vancouver Airport Authority and Laura Ballance Media Group, with a foundation in journalism from Black Press. Lara holds education credentials from Simon Fraser University and Langara College.
