Jordi Pol Ramon

Jordi Pol Ramon is an accomplished entrepreneur and business leader with extensive experience in the fields of science, technology innovation, and market access. As the Founder and Managing Director of BCN Smart Technologies Sdn Bhd since August 2019, Jordi has been instrumental in promoting technological advancement. Additionally, Jordi serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Malaysian Spanish Chamber of Commerce & Industry, fostering bilateral relations between Malaysia and Spain. Jordi has held significant roles in various organizations, including Deputy Chairman of EUROCHAM Malaysia and Interim Chief Executive Officer of HIPRA, where contributions were made towards developing COVID-19 vaccines. Previously, Jordi spent 16 years at MATACHANA, successfully managing operations across the Asia-Pacific region. An educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Marketing from ESCI-UPF and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
