Tenley Dalstrom

Tenley Dalstrom has extensive work experience in various roles related to communications, stakeholder engagement, project management, and environmental issues. Currently, they are the Director of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement at BCS, LLC, embedded at the U.S. Department of Energy. Prior to this, they served as the Director of the CalTestBed Program and Power Connector for New Energy Nexus. Tenley also worked as an Independent Consultant at Tenley Dalstrom Consulting, providing services in project management, communications, and strategic planning. Additionally, they have held positions such as Program Director at The Solar Foundation, Senior Energy Analyst at Energetics, and Senior Assistant at World Wildlife Fund. Their experience also includes coordinating workgroups and conducting research at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, contributing to environmental campaigns and grant proposals at ANPED-The Northern Alliance for Sustainability, and serving as an Environmental NGO Development Consultant during their time with the Peace Corps.

Tenley Dalstrom has a diverse and well-rounded education history. Tenley obtained their MEM in Environmental Management from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their MPPA in Public Policy and Administration from Rutgers University - Camden between 1994 and 1995. Tenley Dalstrom's undergraduate degree is a BS in Journalism and Environmental Sciences, which they earned from the University of Florida from 1990 to 1994. Furthermore, they hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the PMI, which they obtained in May 2013. These educational experiences demonstrate Tenley Dalstrom's expertise in both the environmental and policy fields, along with their strong project management skills.
