Additionally, they were an Account Executive at CreativeCreation in 2016 and Partner Management Professional at Altijd Thuis BV in 2015. Roy has also worked as a Manager Sales and Account Manager at F19 Digital Reporting from 2011 to 2014 and 2006 to 2012, respectively. Prior to that, they held the role of Marketing Manager at ICN Solutions BV from 2006 to 2011 and worked as an Account Manager at MaXXus Communications BV and Marketing Employee at Nika Group in 2005.

Roy Steenbakkers has a diverse education history. In 1995, they attended MDS Middelbare Detailhandel School, where they pursued a degree in Retail, completing their MBO in 1998. Roy then continued their education at Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2004, earning a BA degree in CE/Marketing. In 2015, they attended Bureau Op Eigen Kracht, focusing on becoming a docent in weerbaarheid en gevaarsbeheersing (resilience and danger management instructor). Recently, in 2022, they enrolled at Psychodidact to obtain an ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) certification.
