Asim Salim

Asim Salim has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Asim has been with BCS Technology International Pty Ltd since 2017, initially serving as the Director Emerging Technology and currently as the Director of Technology. Prior to that, Asim worked at ZeroShotBot Inc. as the Product Engineering Lead starting in 2021.

Asim's longest tenure was with Tata Consultancy Services, where they held various roles from 2009 to 2016. Asim'spositions included Solutions Consultant - Insurance, Business Relationship Manager, Presales Lead, Client Partner, and Business Solutions Consultant.

Before joining Tata Consultancy Services, Asim worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer at the same company from 2004 to 2008. Asim also had a role as an Onsite Development Coordinator at Norwich Union Insurance from 2005 to 2007.

Throughout their career, Asim has gained expertise in technology leadership, product engineering, solutions consulting, presales, and business relationship management.

Asim Salim's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. In 2000, they graduated from the University of Kerala with a B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. During the same period, they also obtained a B.Tech degree in Electrical & Electronics from the College of Engineering Trivandrum. From 2008 to 2009, Asim attended the Great Lakes Institute of Management and earned a PGPM degree in Marketing and Operations.

In 2018, Asim enrolled in a short course at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, specifically the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme. Asim also obtained several certifications, including the Certified Blockchain Expert from Blockchain Council, the IBM Blockchain Essentials from IBM, and the Foundations of Financial Planning Parts A and B from Kaplan Professional Education (Australia). Additionally, Asim completed a course called Financial Markets on Coursera and gained expertise in Cloud Computing and DevOps through the Cloud Computing: The Cloud and DevOps course on Lynda.com. Most recently, in 2022, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
