Tess Bonato

Tess Bonato is a Metadata and Development Specialist at BCU Lausanne since February 2022, with previous experience as a Research Assistant at Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg from April 2020 to January 2022, focusing on metagenomic data analysis and pipeline development. Prior roles include Clinical Data Scientist at FIND, where data manipulation and R programming were key tasks, and scientific research on ant communication at Université de Lausanne. Tess also has teaching experience in general mathematics for first-year Biology students. Tess holds a Bachelor in Biology and a Master in Molecular Life Sciences from Université de Lausanne, a Certificate in Machine Learning from EPFL, and is currently pursuing a Master of Advanced Studies in Archival, Library, and Information Science at the University of Bern.
