Doribella Demiranda

Doribella Demiranda is an experienced Product Evaluations Engineer Lead at BDC Laboratories since October 2020, overseeing over 30 concurrent projects involving protocol development, test execution, data analysis, and final reporting for the pre-clinical testing of novel biomedical devices. Doribella has also played a crucial role in training and mentoring engineering staff in testing methods and quality practices. Previous roles include Product Evaluations Engineer III and II at BDC Laboratories, and an Engineering Intern at Hexcel Corporation, where projects focused on operational efficiency and standard operating procedures. Doribella contributed to the Prosthetic Innovation Program through the Range of Motion Project, assisting with prosthesis fabrication for amputees in Ecuador and served as a Student Research Assistant at the Biomaterials Surface Micro/Nano-Engineering Laboratory, focusing on research for biomedical devices. Doribella holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Colorado State University.
