Greg Walden, AIA has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Greg is currently serving as the Vice President - South Studio at BDG Architects since May 2017. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Architect at Behar + Peteranecz: Architecture from February 2017 to May 2017. Greg also held the position of Vice President - Architecture at BDG Architects from August 2016 to February 2017.
Before joining BDG Architects, Greg Walden worked as a Project Architect and 3D Visualization Specialist at Robert Reid Wedding Architects and Planners, Inc. from February 2008 to July 2016. Their work in this role included architectural design for a range of commercial and residential projects, with a specialization in green/sustainable design, breweries, restaurant & bar design, hospitality, automotive, banking, medical offices, public housing, retail, commercial office space, and residential projects.
Greg Walden's earlier work experiences include serving as a Graduate Assistant at USF SACD in 2007 and as a Draftsman at Fred Russell Architect from May 2007 to August 2007.
Greg Walden, AIA obtained their Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree in Architecture and Community Design from the University of South Florida from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended the USF College of Art & Art History from 1998 to 2001, where they focused on Mixed Media and Sculpture. In terms of additional certifications, Greg Walden is an Architect, holding certifications from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) & Florida DBPR, obtained in May 2015. Greg is also a LEED AP, certified by the USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, although the specific date of certification is not provided.
