Karen Hibbert has a diverse work experience in creative roles primarily in the publishing and digital media industry. Karen started their career as a Creative Director at Vanity Fair in 2007 and held the position until 2014. Karen then worked at Teen Vogue as a Deputy Art Director from 2014 to 2015 and subsequently as an Art Director from 2015 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they worked at Condé Nast as an Art Director, where they created special interest publications and established a design language and aesthetic for stand-alone publications. Karen then joined Amazon in 2016 as a Senior Art Director for Private Brands until 2020. Currently, they are employed at Bustle Digital Group, where they started as a VP Creative in 2020 and was promoted to the role of SVP of Creative in 2021.
Karen Hibbert completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University from 1999 to 2002. Karen then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Art and Design, also from Leeds Metropolitan University, from 2002 to 2004.
