Francisco Manuel Reyes Sosa

Francisco Manuel Reyes Sosa has a wealth of work experience in the field of biotechnology. Francisco Manuel began their career in 2003 as a Ph.D. Student at the Instituto de Bioquímica Vegetal y Fotosíntesis. In 2008, they joined Abengoa Bioenergía Nuevas Tecnologías as a Biochemistry Senior Scientist, where they were responsible for reviewing and supervising trials to characterize and overcome bottlenecks for enzymatic cocktails development, as well as proposing and supervising external collaborations, intellectual properties and R&D grants. In the same year, they were promoted to Lab Responsible & Pilot Facility Manager, where they were responsible for setting up an R&D team and laboratories, planning and executing R&D and scale up projects, and managing human resources and budgets. In 2017, they began working as a Business Development Manager at VLPbio and BDi Biotechnology, where they were responsible for managing business development projects. In 2019, they began working as a Business Development Manager at 53Biologics.

Francisco Manuel Reyes Sosa holds a PhD in Biological Sciences from the Universidad de Sevilla and has attended the Universidad Loyola.
