Ricardo Arjona Antolin

Ricardo Arjona Antolin has an extensive work experience. Starting in 1992, they worked as a Project Manager at AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation). In 1999, they became an Associate Professor at Universidad de Sevilla. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as Business Development New Energy at INERCO, S.A. From 2004 to 2011, they held multiple roles at Abengoa Bioenergy, including Executive Vicepresident, Technology Development Vicepresident, and Director General. In 2011, they were appointed General Director at Abengoa Bioenergy New Technologies. In 2017, they were named President of both BDi Biotechnology and VLPbio. In 2016, they founded ec2ce and is currently serving as the Chairman. In 2020, they were appointed Patrono of FIAL - Fundación de la Inteligencia Artificial Legal.

Ricardo Arjona Antolin has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Sevilla, a MS and BS Industrial Engineer in Chemical Engineering from the same university, a Strategic R&D Management degree from INSEAD, and a Business Administration degree from the Escuela de Organización Industrial.
