Stijn Maes

Stijn Maes is a seasoned audit professional with extensive experience at BDO Belgium, beginning in October 2016 as an audit assistant and progressing to the role of Senior Audit Manager. Stijn also serves as a Bedrijfsrevisor at the Instituut van de Bedrijfsrevisoren-Institut des Réviseurs d'Entreprises since March 2022. Prior to these roles, Stijn held a position as a job student and lifeguard at Stad Hasselt from June 2010 to September 2016 and organized the AIESEC Limburg quiz from October 2012 to March 2014. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Economics from Hasselt University, completed between 2010 and 2015, and further studies at KU Leuven in 2015-2016.
