Helen Newman RITF is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in restructuring and insolvency practice, currently serving as a Partner in BDO Brisbane's Business Restructuring team since February 2010. Specializing in providing solutions for distressed assets and business challenges, Helen previously held the position of Principal and National Technical Director of Corporate Recovery at PKF Australia from September 2006 to December 2009, and worked as a Principal at EY from January 1989 to September 2005. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Accountancy from Queensland University of Technology and several advanced certifications in restructuring and insolvency from University of Technology Sydney and the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association.
